You must satisfy home office that you have lived for required period under the visa category, depending on immigration category you fall under you may be eligible to apply for indefinite leave to remain after two, three, five, ten years of residence. Belize, the British Overseas Territories, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Malta, New Zealand, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, USA.

To maximize chances of success in ILR application you are require providing number of supporting documents as follows.

 

  • Valid passport or travelling documents.
  • Evidence of meeting financial requirements such as employment letter bank stamen, payslip.
  • Details of criminal conviction if any

In some circumstances you may be eligible to use Priority or super priority service depending on availability, if you are eligible for Priority service, there will be additional cost of £500 and usually you get decision within 5 working days, after attending your appointment for biometric appointment. However, it may take longer if Hone office ask for further information to conclude application. If you are eligible for using Super priority service, it will be £1000 additional cost and you will get decision by next working days after appointment for biometric. If home office requires further information, it may take two working day or longer.
